In the Studio: New Christmas Album
We’re back in the recording studio and it feels amazing! It’s not a new original album yet, although that is also burbling around under the surface, so I wouldn't be surprised if we end up writing new music while we're working on this project.
We’re actually back in the studio recording a new Christmas album, to be released sometime this Fall.
Believe it or not, it has already been SIX YEARS since our last holiday album Falling Snow came out. So we have a lot of beautiful, unrecorded arrangements and it’s been wonderful to really sink into them and add textures and layers and sounds in the studio.
We have 6 of the songs recorded now - 6 of 12!
Including a really interesting, mysterious version of O Come O Come Emmanuel that we’ve never released before, which we just finished recording on Monday. We think that you will enjoy it. ;)
