It's tour season again and we're back on the road in the Midwest for a string of shows. First off was a performance in Dublin, Ohio at a beautiful concert series, where we were joined by these dancers from the Richens-Timm academy of Irish Dance.
We played music as the sun slowly set, and really enjoyed the natural outdoor setting. Thanks to Dave Turner for these photos!
Next up, after a very long drive through thunder and rainstorms in Pennsylvania, we ended up outside of Boston to play at the Burren with Heron Valley from Scotland. The backroom was packed, the sets were received enthusiastically, and the drive was totally worth it because now we're excited to come back to Boston again in the future! Thanks to all who came to catch this set.
It was also great to get to know the guys and girls in Heron Valley. They are on their first tour of the states, and we wish them luck! Check out their music - it's really cool contemporary Scottish Celtic music that we love the sound of, so you'll probably like it, too.
Gothard Sisters touring essentials - kombucha and blueberries for antioxidants, plus lots of water - not pictured: COFFEE, definitely important.
Stay tuned for Part Two!
